Meet Debi and Amanda

Amanda

  • Has an obsessive relationship with making homemade ice cream. There are always 3 or 4 containers of new flavors in her freezer.
  • She has lived in several places in Europe and spent a year teaching English in Japan. She loves to travel and is currently planning a road trip through the lower 48 states to promote creativity and highlight people already engaging in creative endeavors.
  • Amanda reads 2-3 books a week, a number of them feature swords or wizards. She acknowledges this makes her a giant nerd.
  • She loves Colorado, her friends and family
  • Amanda lives with her husband, AC and their two black cats, Oscar and Lulu. Having two black cats makes it easier to pick out clothing – just avoid white!

Debi

  • Debi refuses to see scary films. Life’s way too short to pay good money to be scared to death. She is very grateful to whoever it was that invented the spell checker and the calculator.
  • She feels that education should never stop – get out and try new things, travel the world, cook new foods, meet new and unusual people. Life’s short…. experiment! But bungee jumpingĀ  – that’s definitely out!
  • She loves dark chocolate, Mexican food, book and art stores and an occasional drink. An occasional drink with friends is even better. She’d really rather be living in a warmer climate preferably one with a beach.
  • Debi loves her husband, Bob (they’ve been married for 31 years!) her children, Amanda, Parker, Spencer and Grace, her family and friends. Add in their dog Cinnamon, the cats – Sophie, Ozzy, Indie and Dexter. It’s a FULL house!

Debi and Amanda both volunteer their time and talents to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep and Destination ImagiNation.
