I want to book a session. How do I do that?
Just call or use our “Contact Us” form with the some simple information: number of children, their ages and an approximate date you’re looking for. We’ll work together from there to set up the date and create a session that will suit you and your family. 303-929-5209
When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?
Newborn session are best if they are done when the baby is under four weeks old. For this reason please try to book while you are pregnant. Just let us know when your due date is and call us within two weeks of your babies arrival. If your baby is like either of mine – you’ll be late! We understand how that goes.
What if my child gets sick before our session?
Kids really can’t escape germs in their active little lives! A runny nose, a cough or fever can really put a damper on their day and it’s best to reschedule our session in order to capture your child at their best. If possible, please give a call 24 hours in advance to notify us of sickness. Your session will be rescheduled into the next available date.
Where will our sessions take place?
Sessions take place at your home, a local park or other favorite place. Our style is unposed and without backdrops.
What if my child misbehaves?
Our style does not require your child’s best behavior. In fact, a little bit of frisky and chaos works well to capture your child’s true character. It’s often best for us to work one-on-one with your child as most kids are too busy figuring out the ‘new person’ to really act up! It’s rare that a parent is required to reign in a child, but we will ask for assistance if it is truly needed.
What should we wear?
Now is not the time for your Sunday best. It’s not comfortable for kids and we don’t want to be worried about keeping clean. Really – this isn’t about the clothes it’s about your kids. We don’t mind a wardrobe change and if you have several ideas we’ll help you choose. Think bright, funky and trendy!
How long does a session last?
There are no time-clocks ticking during your session. Some children are slower to warm up, and others are ready to ‘play’ right off the bat. We take our time to capture all manner of portrait and photo-journalistic shots to create your collection of images. That said, sessions typically last around 1.5 hours.
Can you retouch boo-boos, scars and scratches?
Yes, our clients love this little extra.
When will our photos be ready?
Your images will be available for viewing on your private web gallery in 10 to 14 days. Final print orders will be ready within two weeks of ordering. Complete orders placed within two weeks of your on line gallery opening will receive a complimentary 8×10 portrait. Your web galley will remain open for one month.

Kokoro Photography retains the copyrights to all photography. Images may not be copied, scanned or reproduced in any way without written permission. We archive your purchased files for one year. Imaged that are not purchased are purged from our system monthly to make room for new clients.
